This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to launchkeel.com (the "Site"), operated by Launchkeel LLC ("Company," "we," "us"), and governs data collection and usage. By using the Site, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. This Policy also describes data practices — such as outreach based on publicly available business information — that do not depend on your use of the Site.

California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"):

Prospective clients (contact form):

• A link to the business's Google Maps listing
• A phone number or email address

Clients:

• Business details used to build the website (business name, address, hours of operation, phone number, photographs, and social-media links)
• Billing and transaction records (payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by the Company)
• Correspondence exchanged with the Company

Publicly available business information:

In connection with its outreach to small businesses, the Company may collect publicly available business information (business name, category, contact details, and public listing photographs) from sources such as Google Maps. A business that does not wish to be contacted may opt out of further outreach by replying to any communication or by emailing [email protected].

We do not collect personal information through the Site unless you voluntarily provide it to us.

Use of Your Personal Information

The Company uses your personal information to:

• Prepare and deliver the website mockup you request
• Respond to your inquiries and communicate about the services
• Build, host, and maintain client websites
• Process payments via Stripe
• Send service notifications and transactional emails
• Conduct outreach to prospective business clients based on publicly available listing information, subject to the opt-out described above
• Comply with legal obligations

Sharing Information with Third Parties

The Company does not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share data with the following service providers only as necessary to operate the services:

• Stripe (payment processing; see Stripe's privacy policy)
• Cloudflare (website hosting for the Site and client websites, and contact-form delivery)
• Resend (transactional email delivery)
• Google Workspace (internal records of prospects and clients)

These third parties are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us and to maintain confidentiality.

Legal Disclosure: The Company may disclose your personal information without notice if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or property, or act under exigent circumstances to protect public safety.

Automatically Collected Information

The Company does not operate advertising or analytics tracking cookies on launchkeel.com. The Company's hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically log standard technical information — such as IP address, browser type, access times, and referring website addresses — for security and operational purposes. This information is used to operate the service and maintain quality. We do not collect precise GPS location or device advertising identifiers.

Security of Your Personal Information

The Company secures your personal information using measures including:

• SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit
• Access controls on internal records
• Payment processing confined to Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. While we implement industry-standard protections, you acknowledge that security limitations inherent to the Internet exist beyond our control.

Children Under Thirteen

The Company does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. The Site and the Company's services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children.

Right to Deletion

Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will:

• Delete your personal information from our records
• Direct our service providers to delete your personal information from their records

To request deletion, contact [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within thirty (30) days. Please note that payment records are retained by Stripe in accordance with tax and financial regulations.

We may not be able to comply with requests to delete your information if it is necessary to:

• Complete pending transactions or fulfill an active service engagement
• Detect and prevent fraud or security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations
• Preserve information for dispute resolution

Email Communications and Opt-Out

The Company may contact you via email regarding your mockup, your website, billing, and service notifications. Outreach emails to prospective clients include the ability to opt out of further contact by reply. Clients cannot opt out of transactional emails relating to an active engagement (such as billing notices and service communications).

Changes to This Policy

The Company reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time. When changes are significant, we will notify clients by email and/or by placing a prominent notice on launchkeel.com. Your continued use of the website after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
